Sam has just joined a new band! After several years of a musical partnership together, Zack Pomerleau and Sam Berce, with the cumulative effort of Mike Beling, formed the A-Town Allstars with the idea that a band should not be bound by one specific style. Although at first the resemblance to Soulive and other organ trios is clear, it’s when you listen that you realize that the extreme blues and jazz influence is clear. Sam Berce… and Mike Beling are college trained musicians in theory and their respected instruments, and Zack Pomerleau has studied drums over the years with various drummers including Jayme Tardiff and Dick Demers. With their lexicon of musical knowledge, they play not only the funkiest funk around, but they can also swing and shuffle as tightly as musicians twice their age. This organ trio (did we mention Mike plays bass with his left hand?) will surely be the new sensation in the blues, funk, and jazz scenes!
